It\u00a0 stands\u00a0 for\u00a0 Registration\u00a0 Evaluation\u00a0 and \u00a0Authorization\u00a0 of\u00a0 Chemicals.\u00a0 REACH\u00a0 is the\u00a0 EU\u00a0 law\u00a0 that\u00a0 regulates\u00a0 registration, evaluation\u00a0 and\u00a0 permission\u00a0 of\u00a0 all\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 chemicals\u00a0 within\u00a0 EU\u00a0 countries. Furthermore , it\u00a0 limits the\u00a0 use, production\u00a0 and trade\u00a0 of\u00a0 chemicals\u00a0 for producers and\u00a0 importers\u00a0 of those chemicals.\u00a0 In short , it is an integrated\u00a0 system\u00a0 controlling\u00a0 all\u00a0 chemicals\u00a0 produced, used \u00a0and\u00a0 imported within\u00a0 the\u00a0 European\u00a0 countries. Its\u00a0 main\u00a0 objective\u00a0 is\u00a0 to\u00a0 protect\u00a0 health and well-being\u00a0 of\u00a0 people \u00a0and\u00a0 environment\u00a0 from\u00a0 chemical\u00a0 use\u00a0 and increase\u00a0 the\u00a0 competitive\u00a0 potential\u00a0 amongst\u00a0 chemical\u00a0 industry\u00a0 within European\u00a0 Union. It helps promote\u00a0 research\u00a0 and development\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 industry. This website would like to\u00a0 introduce \u00a0Substances\u00a0 of\u00a0 Very\u00a0 High\u00a0 Concern\u00a0 as preliminary\u00a0 information\u00a0 for\u00a0 those\u00a0 interested\u00a0 in\u00a0 producing\u00a0 and\u00a0 exporting\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0  their\u00a0 products to\u00a0 the\u00a0 EU countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\"> Chemicals\u00a0 within\u00a0 the\u00a0 scope\u00a0 of\u00a0 SVHC\u00a0 are\u00a0 as\u00a0 follows : <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Carcinogenic, Mutagenic\u00a0 or Toxic\u00a0 to\u00a0 Reproduction\u00a0 (CMR)\u00a0 type 1 or 2, categorized\u00a0 in\u00a0 Appendix 1-6 of\u00a0 REACH<\/p>\n<p>2. PBT ( Persistent, Bioaccumulative\u00a0 and Toxic ) and vPvB ( very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative ) as\u00a0 regulated\u00a0 in\u00a0 Annex\u00a0 XIII\u00a0 of\u00a0 REACH<\/p>\n<p>3. Endocrine\u00a0 disruptors<\/p>\n<p>4.
